Haverkamp Group Breaks Ground on The Sloane in Ankeny

ANKENY, Iowa (September 9, 2026) – Haverkamp Group celebrated the groundbreaking of The Sloane on September 3, marking the start of construction on a new residential community in north Ankeny.
Located on approximately 28 acres near the southwest corner of NE Delaware Avenue and NE 70th Street, The Sloane will feature 387 apartments, stacked flats and townhomes. The development will also include a clubhouse, swimming pool and other community amenities.

The September 3 groundbreaking brought together representatives from the Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce and Ankeny Business & Industry Collaborative, along with team members from Haverkamp Construction, Haverkamp Group and Haverkamp Properties.
